Accessibility of this website

This Site is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, however we are aware some parts of this Site are not currently fully accessible and are working on updating our Site to meet full compliance.  For example:

  • Not all our website text is written in plain language, such as to the Plain Language Commission’s Clear English Standard, so it is not as simple to understand as it could be.  Many of these pages or publications are intended for a professional audience, so they include terms and abbreviations which members of the public might not understand.
  • Link purpose – not all links are described by their link text alone, or by the link text together with preceding page context

If you require any of the Information contained on the Site in an accessible format then please contact us at contact@ogdc.com

Reporting accessibility problems with this website

How we have developed and tested this Site

We have developed our Site to make it more accessible to all users.

Our Site is built in WordPress, a content management system. There are several content types used within the Site defining the type of page. Testing was carried out on each content type, on a selection of pages, examples of which can be found below.

We used Lighthouse to audit each page for accessibility issues. We used Wave to automatically test for accessibility issues on pages that do not need users to sign in.

You can read the Site’s Terms of Use here.
